Playa Guiones is considered one of the best beach breaks in Costa Rica. The surf is very consistent year-round, and offers something for everyone. Its a thick mushy wave and has enough power for high-performance surfing, yet still easy enough to paddle out. Rights and lefts, all sand bottom, for all levels of surfers, works best on NorthWest, West, and SouthWest swells.

Playa Pelada is beach which breaks best during the dry season in Costa Rica, November through March, Works best with a west or north west swell. Playa Pelada has 3 main surf spots: Olgas, the barrier reef outside of Olgas and Pelada Proper. Rights and lefts, reef-rocky bottom, for experienced surfers.

Ostional is a beach break and reef break with rights and lefts that works on higher tides and south to southwest swells. Good for all levels of surfers.
